With the acceleration of the pace of life nowadays, cerebral diseases have become the most threatening type of illness to people in the world, which have a significant impact on their health. In recent years, the role of traditional Chinese medicine in treating brain diseases has been increasingly valued, with the characteristics of precise efficacy and few complications.
The components of traditional Chinese medicine are of great significance in the treatment of brain diseases. Some components of traditional Chinese medicine have the effect of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, which can improve blood circulation in the brain and provide good help in repairing brain nerves; Some traditional Chinese medicine ingredients can dilate meningeal blood vessels, increase local blood flow, accelerate blood flow velocity, and have a certain protective effect on brain tissue; The kidney tonifying drugs in some traditional Chinese medicine ingredients not only can nourish the kidneys, but also have the effect of promoting brain cell recovery and repairing brain nerves. There are also some traditional Chinese medicine ingredients that can dilate cerebral blood vessels, increase cerebral blood flow, protect neurons, and have anti-ischemic and anti-vasoconstrictive effects. In summary, traditional Chinese medicine ingredients play an important role in the treatment of brain diseases. They can not only improve blood circulation in the brain, protect brain tissue, and promote brain cell recovery, but also prevent and treat cerebral vascular diseases to a certain extent. The application of these traditional Chinese medicine ingredients provides new ideas and methods for the treatment of brain diseases.
The main purpose of this special issue is to explore the pharmacological components of traditional Chinese medicine and verify the pharmacological experiments related to brain diseases, and to study the role of traditional Chinese medicine components in treating brain diseases. It has significant clinical significance in promoting the treatment of brain diseases, enriching and developing the scientific connotation of traditional Chinese medicine in treating brain diseases, elucidating its mechanism of action in treating neurological diseases, and even discovering new components that promote drug delivery into the brain. It has important theoretical and practical value.
