For Authors

Before submitting a manuscript, authors are encouraged to read and understand all the journal’s policies, including the aim and scope, ethics and publishing policies, and author guidelines of your target journal. Authors should prepare all the materials according to the author guidelines, register an account, and then start your submission step by step.

Please follow the publisher’s ethics and policies, and ensure that you comply with Core Practices and Best Practice Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Sin-Chn Scientific Press respects the rights of creators, and all the authors are strongly advised to read the definition of authorship and contributors given by ICMJE and follow the Authorship Policy of each journal. Sin-Chn Scientific Press rejects authorships such as ghost authors, and false authors, and when discovered, manuscripts will be challenged for academic misconduct and rejected.

Authors should apply to a change of the authorship list with approval of all the authors (including those being added and removed). For a research article, authors should describe all the authors’ contributions referring to the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT). There is no mandatory for other types of articles. The publisher will deal with any changes or disputes over authorships following the COPE flowcharts of authorship and contributorship. Please note that scholars should avoid any kinds of false authorships, which will have a negative impact on the academic reputation of scholars.

A corresponding author must be assigned, and the publisher allows up to two corresponding authors. A corresponding author serves as a representative of all the authors, and takes charge of communicating with the journal editor.

Authors must be aware of Article Processing Charges (APCs) before making a submission. Authors hold the copyright of the work under a CC BY 4.0 license, which requests to credit the original source.

Submissions to Sin-Chn Scientific Press will suffer a rigorous peer-review process. All the potential conflicts of interest will be disclosed by participants. The Editors-in-Chief oversees the whole peer-review process. Authors are encouraged to provide a list of reviewers recommended or avoidable. The journal office reserves the right to adopt the recommendations.

Authors are encouraged to appeal against a decision or complain about suspected manipulation to the journal office within 30 days. The publisher will deal with any complaint according to the guides of COPE, the appeal and complaint policy of the publisher.
